Personalised wellness

“Personalised” can mean very different things

Some programmes rebuild the schedule. Some change which treatments are delivered. Some personalise only the consultation. Many never say what stays fixed.

What may change

All three are defensible. They are not the same purchase, and the word alone will not separate them.

  • Which treatments are delivered, from a defined set
  • The timing of sessions within a fixed daily frame
  • Intensity of movement sessions
  • Food, where dietary requirements are asked for in advance
  • The content of a consultation

Personalised wellness

What usually stays fixed

This is the half providers rarely publish, and the half that decides what a week actually feels like.

  • The overall daily structure and its start and end times
  • The number of practitioner hours included
  • Group sessions, which remain group sessions
  • Accommodation type, unless upgraded at a cost
  • The total number of treatments

What to ask

  • Is the daily schedule fixed, or rebuilt per guest?
  • Can treatment selection change after arrival, and who decides?
  • Is practitioner time a fixed number of hours?
  • Is food personalised, or only accommodated?
  • What, specifically, does not change?
